When you consume protein it helps your body to regulate ghrelin secretion. This hormone is secreted when your stomach is empty, but when you have consumed food and your stomach is stretched then its secretion is reduced, but if this hormone is high on your body then even after eating the ghrelin will send signals to your brain telling it that you are still hungry.

Eating foods high in protein will help to reduce ghrelin production, enrich your breakfast with boiled eggs, yogurt, nuts and peanut butter.

  1. Consume Steel Cut Oats Instead Of Rolled Oats

Instead of consuming rolled oats you should switch to steel cut oats that will make you feel full for much longer than rolled oats. Steel cut oats has a low glycemic make-up, it will extend your satisfaction after a meal and will also regulate your blood glucose levels.

  1. Consume Veggies

Make sure you consume lots of veggies as they help relieve you of constipation and other digestive concerns because of their high fiber content. You can eat dark leafy veggies like spinach for breakfast.

  1. Consume Fat

You will boost your energy early in the morning when you eat fats in your breakfast. However, you should only consume healthy fats such as nuts, seeds, avocados, almond butter, flaxseed oil and coconut oil.

You can add between 1 to 2 tablespoons of fat in your breakfast.
